Online shoppers face the obstacles of not being able to hold the clothing they purchase in their hands, to try them on, to stand in front of a mirror to determine whether or not they are going to make a purchase. They have to rely on product descriptions and customer reviews to visualize the feel, and sizing charts to understand the fit. With accurate measurements an online shopper could be able to get the “fit” of an item. But many shoppers do not have accurate measurements or they rely on store sizes, which vary from brand to brand. This, the problem of online shoppers having accurate measurements, was the first problem we addressed. The second problem of, how do you convey feel, when you can’t actually feel something, was the second we addressed.

The Vista Coffee Project website (www.vistacoffee.org) was created as a platform to sell coffee and provide information on ministries and missions which the organization supports. The vision behind Vista Coffee Project is to sell coffee from, and give the proceeds to, ministries or missions in coffee producing countries.
The signage within the Christian Education hallway of Hillside Christian Community is not uniform and the staff of the church would like to update and improve the signage. Through observation, surveys, and interviews I would like to learn how users interact with the current signage, what the biggest frustrations and what users like about it. Once the how is determined, I would like to focus on where the signage should be placed. For this I looked at other churches that have updated their signage.
As a group we were asked to work with a local nonprofit organization to help improve the functionality and overall design of their websites.
Our objective was to design a website for an online clothing company. Product: “rugged, moderately priced, will last a long time” shorts, t-shirts, jackets, and hats.
Create a brochure that was distributed to the congregation. Brochure was a form of communication for church leadership to share with congregation members. Brochure was easy to read and interpret data, while providing images and information to better inform the church.
Branding for coffee import company. Created a new logo to reflect brand identity. Logo was added to merchandise products to increase brand recognition.
